Job Description
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria Virginia and Orlando Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning design infrastructure management technical consulting engineering and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army Air Force Navy Marine Corps) missions along with other US federal agencies all over the world.
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager (PM) to lead and oversee the successful execution of a major construction management and engineering services task order. As a Program Manager you are responsible for overall task order performance direction and coordination of large and complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and full authority on all matters related to daily task order operations.
- Direct and coordinate the construction management team ensuring project obligations are met.
- Manage schedules budgets quality control and project documentation.
- Prepare and update construction schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Present project updates and reports to government staff ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Analyze project costs and drive efficient effective solutions.
- Ensure project deliverables are professional economical and meet client expectations.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of construction experience with at least 10 years in project management and 7 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven success managing large complex construction projects over $100M.
- Strong knowledge of government contracting and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- PMP certification preferred.
- Ability to travel to any Port of Entry within client span of control.
- Excellent leadership communication and coordination skills.
