About the role

Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently seeking experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our Ward 1 team on a casual basis to deliver high patient quality care.This is an excellent opportunity to develop versatility in your skill set and to be mentored by a dedicated team of Registered and Senior Nurses.

With 22 operating theatres Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Medical Services Orthopaedics Bariatrics Neurosurgery Plastic Surgery ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) General Surgery Obstetrics Cardiac Care and Oncology.

As an Enrolled Nurse your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver safe researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
• Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Act as a role model for Safe Practice
• Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
• Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

Essential Criteria:

Current Registration with AHPRA

Minimum 1-year experience

Med and IV endorsed

Commitment to quality patient care

Compliance with ACSQHC National standards

Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Works well independently and within a team
