Who You Are:
You are a skilled and experienced data engineer with a strong background in BigData and modern data platforms. You have expertise in Apache Spark HiveAirflow and Lakehouse technologies (Delta Lake Apache Hudi ApacheIceberg) along with cloud-native data services. Your ability to lead projects andcollaborate with cross-functional teams allows you to ensure data integrityscalability and operational efficiency.
What Youll Do:
Build the next-gen data infrastructure for Zinnia using Lakehouseframeworks Apache Airflow Apache Spark and Hive.
Design build and optimize data workflows across real-time nearlineand offline data ecosystems.
Leverage Lakehouse platforms (Delta Lake Hudi Iceberg) to enableunified batch and streaming pipelines.
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understandbusiness requirements and translate them into scalable data-driventechnical solutions.
Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complexdistributed data-related issues.
Stay up to date with Big Data cloud and Lakehouse trendsrecommending best practices for data engineering and integration.
Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering a culture of innovationautomation and continuous learning.
What Youll Need
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
10 years of experience in Big Data engineering or a similar role withproven leadership and project management experience.
Strong expertise in data integration transformation andorchestration using Spark Hive and Airflow.
Proficiency in Lakehouse platforms (Delta Lake Apache Hudi ApacheIceberg) and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with cloud-based data environments (AWS GCP or Azure).
In-depth understanding of scalable data pipelines distributed computingand modern data architectures.
Programming knowledge in Scala or Python
Knowledge of data quality and governance principles and experienceimplementing them within the Big Data lifecycle.
Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills with theability to collaborate across teams.
Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities manage multiple projectssimultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate; it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations. The salary range for this position is $130000-$150000. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individuals skills education experience training and geographic location.
