The Technical Officer for Data Visualization and User Experience will support the SAFEMed project in transforming complex health and supply chain data into clear user-friendly and visually compelling formats. This includes preparation of presentations reports infographics dashboards and other data visualization deliverables that help stakeholders and decision-makers effectively use project outputs. The Officer will apply user experience (UX) principles to ensure that data products are intuitive accessible and aligned with global best practices in digital health and data use.
LOCATION: Kyiv Ukraine
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop infographics dashboards reports and presentations that clearly display SAFEMeds results and IT system outputs.
- Ensure outputs are accurate user-friendly and aligned with project standards.
- Conduct technical communication with stakeholders regarding visualization of data from various IT platforms and dashboards.
- Ensure clarity consistency and alignment with project requirements
- Work closely with technical staff Communications and MEL teams to visualize data required for reports presentations and decision-making.
- Provide input on visualization needs during system development and reporting cycles.
- Apply UX principles to ensure that data products (reports dashboards tools) are intuitive accessible and easy to use for stakeholders.
- Contribute to project reports and technical deliverables ensuring consistency in the visualization and presentation of data.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems UX/UI Design Data Visualization Finance Management or a related technical field.
Preferred:
- Additional training in data visualization UX design or health informatics.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years of professional experience in data visualization data presentation or IT system support related to reporting and dashboards.
- Practical experience in UX/UI design wireframing prototyping and creating adaptive layouts (e.g. in Figma or similar tools).
- Experience in collecting processing and preparing data for reports dashboards or visualization outputs.
- Proven ability to design clear user-friendly and visually consistent outputs (infographics dashboards reports presentations).
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with IT and technical teams.
- Experience in digital health eHealth or donor-funded IT projects (preferred).
- Knowledge of UX principles for data-driven systems (preferred).
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Strong skills in data visualization and user-centered design.
- Ability to design intuitive and accessible outputs for diverse users.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles applied to digital health data systems.
- Proficiency in visualization and design tools (Figma PowerPoint etc.).
- Fluency in Ukrainian and good command of English (B2).
