ThepurposeoftheICLATechnicalAssistantpositionistoprovidetechnicalandadministrativesupport in the daily implementation of ICLA projects within the NRC area of operation.
Planned start date is February 2026.

Promoteandideasforimprovementinyourareaof expertise.
Specificresponsibilities
ProvideInformationCounsellingandLegalAssistanceonHouseLandProperty(HLP)Legal Identity Documentation (LID) Essential and Employment Law Procedure (ELP) rights based on the ICLA Core Competency Target Setting Guideline for the Target group.
Contribute to support the ICLA Team to conduct Capacity Building Trainings for Duty Bearers and Governmental Officials and provide Legal Assistance on HLP assessments and due diligencetoReturneesIDPsandExtremelyVulnerable(EVI)HostCommunityconsistentwith the applicable laws procedures and current referral system.
Manage dissemination of information communication and education materials in the targetedareabykeepingrecordsofbrochuresdistributedandreportingontheprogressof the dissemination campaign.
MaintainupdatedinformationoncurrentlegislationandlegaldevelopmentsinUkraine international protection frameworks and human rights laws.
Provide secretarial support such as data entry of intake forms taking minutes drafting lettersandmemorandaofunderstandingrecordingoftheincominge-/mailsandother relevant actions.
Attendmeetingskeeprecordsthereofandreportonthediscussionsandprocesses(if relevant).
Assist with receivingincoming callsfromprojectparticipants/hotlineandmakeoutgoingcalls tothelatteraccordingtoneedsandperformotherdutiesintheLegalAidCenter(ifapplicable and when necessary).
Assistance to the project participants in filling standard forms such as applications for death registration or submitting applications to the DIA app or other digital platforms.
Provisionofthereferralservicesandcounsellingtotypicalrequestsforassistancethatdonot require advanced legal expertise (if applicable and when necessary).
SupportwithKobodatatransferringwhenrequested.
Ensureproperfilingandstorageofdocumentsinaccordancewithinternalstandardsand requirements for case management and record keeping.
Professionalcompetencies

BachelorsdegreeinLaw.
Experienceofassistingintheimplementationofhumanitarian/recovery/volunteeringprojectsor working in legal firms.
Previousexperienceworkingincomplexandvolatilecontexts.
Documentedresultsrelatedtothepositionsresponsibilities.
Provencompetenceinbusinesswritingresearchandanalyticalwriting.
Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian (both written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in English is considered an asset.

Experienceofworkinginthefieldwithdisplacedand/orvulnerablegroupsandcommunities.

Abilitytowriteclearlyand concisely;
Proven ability to analyse the legal political and socio-economic context in Ukraine and collect process and analyse qualitative and quantitative data to inform context analysis and legal research;
Experience in using Power BI Kobo MS Access DIIA software programs and apps would be considered an advantage.
