Job Summary
Seeking a strong leader to manage housekeeping with experience in aged care cleaning and chemical handling.
About Role
We are currently looking for a permanent part -time Senior Cleaner at our Aegis Parkview facility in Redcliffe.
This is an ideal position for someone looking to take on regular work with a set schedule. If youre interested we would love to hear from you!
About Location
Aegis Parkview is a 79 bed facility situated on Drummond Street in Redcliffe. Drummond was a botanist and the four wings are named after native Australian comprises of extra service and dementia care wings. All rooms are single with a large ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. The different wings all have their own lounge and dining areas with large individual courtyards. The facility is surrounded by well maintained Parkview has a theatre room with a large screen for movie days which is enjoyed by the residents.
About Duties
As an important part of the team you will be able to:
- Provide Facility cleaning to a high Aged Care standard.
- Use equipment and chemicals in accordance with training methods.
- Provide a clean and homely environment for our residents.
- Lead the cleaning team in a positive and safe manner.
- Mentor and encourage the cleaning team.
- Assist with the On-Boarding of new cleaning personnel.
- Liaise between Facility Manager and the Cleaning Team.

About You
To be successful in this position you will:
- Have extensive previous cleaning experience in a health care setting.
- Be able to work within a team and independently.
- Be proactive solution driven and reliable.
- Have high attention to cleaning detail.
- Knowledge of infection control principles
- Have a high level of English communication skills both verbal and written.
- Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
- Previous experience in leading staff will see you excel in this role.
