Job Summary
As a Best Buy Facilities Technician youll ensure that all stores in your market are clean maintained and meet company standards. Youll perform a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks including painting carpentry plumbing and general mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

What youll do
- Complete regular maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing repairs drain cleanings minor HVAC repairs emergency response cleanup work painting and wall patching.
- Drive a lift to perform cleaning dusting and light bulb changing.
- Perform janitorial work including spot cleaning window washing restroom maintenance and trash handling
- Perform light carpentry and electrical work as well as roof inspections.
- Tracks work orders and other key documentation.
- Manages parts and tool inventory.
Basic Qualifications
- 2 years of experience with basic electrical plumbing painting and preventative maintenance management
- 2 years of experience using communication and problem-solving skills
- 3 years of maintenance or related experience
- Current valid drivers license
- Have and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents etc.)
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Acquire gain and maintain any state or local licensing as required within 90 days of hire
- Able to push up to 100 pounds and carry up to 75 pounds
