Overview
We are a fast-growing e-commerce company with multiple product SKUs and hundreds of marketing campaigns across different platforms. Were looking for a Data Analyst who can help us make data-driven decisions by tracking analyzing and reporting on sales and marketing performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented skilled at interpreting data and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data from Shopify marketing campaigns (mainly Pinterest) and other sources to identify trends and opportunities.
- Generate weekly performance reports on KPIs such as sales conversion rates traffic and customer acquisition costs.
- Monitor advertising campaign performance and recommend optimizations based on conversion rates AOV and ROI.
- Conduct and analyze A/B tests and product experiments to guide marketing strategy.
- Perform competitive analysis using research and competitor monitoring tools to benchmark performance.
- Prepare and deliver weekly summary reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Maintain organized data records and if possible build simple dashboards or automations to streamline reporting.
Qualifications
- 2 - 3 years of data analysis experience ideally in e-commerce or digital marketing.
- Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables charts formulas).
- Hands-on experience with Shopify reporting and Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication skills able to translate data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with SQL Tableau Looker Studio or Power BI for advanced reporting.
- Previous work with large SKU counts or high-traffic e-commerce businesses.
Workload & Collaboration
- Estimated workload: 20 - 40 hours per week.
- Training videos and clear process guidelines will be provided.
- Collaboration will be ongoing through Upwork chat and project updates.
