Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science IT Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in IT and 3 years of networking experience
- Preferably with extensive experience in computer network systems database administration and system management
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with switches routers and Cisco devices
- Proficient in reading and creating network diagrams
- Experience in Incident Management is a plus
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification required
- If CCNA has expired candidates must have relevant Cisco training and work experience.
- Must be amenable to working in shifting schedules
- Must be able to work onsite at BGC Taguig US shifts
- Immediate start preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT Services Support and Operations teams
- Provide first-level incident and service request resolution monitor availability and continuity of IT services
- Coordinate with IT Asset Management and Audit teams to implement actions aimed at improving customer satisfaction
- Implement technology migration and system upgrade plans for service-specific needs
- Perform routine backup activities and ensure the redundancy of power systems and networks
- Ensure adherence to IT service continuity processes and assist with troubleshooting escalated issues
- Maintain and enhance system availability through proactive monitoring and adjustments
- Assist in the development of network diagrams and support network architecture as necessary
