Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Chief Nursing Operator to lead our Cleveland-based home health and hospice operations. This executive role is responsible for driving strategic growth ensuring operational excellence and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. The Managing Director will oversee day-to-day functions financial performance compliance and community engagement while aligning with the organizations mission to deliver high-touch high-tech patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead strategic planning and execution for the Cleveland market aligning with organizational goals.
- Drive market expansion identifying new service lines and community engagement opportunities.
- Champion innovation and technology integration including tools like PerfectVisit.
Operational & Financial Oversight
- Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring quality compliance and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to CMS state and local regulatory standards.
- Manage budgets financial performance and resource allocation to support sustainable growth.
Growth & Expansion
- Identify and pursue new geographic and service line expansion opportunities.
- Lead integration of mergers and acquisitions within the Cleveland market.
Culture & Team Development
- Build mentor and empower a high-performing leadership team.
- Foster employee engagement retention and a culture of excellence.
- Represent the organization at community events and industry forums.
Risk Management & Governance
- Implement processes to manage operational financial and regulatory risks.
- Provide regular performance reporting and insights to governing bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Business Management Nursing or related field (Masters preferred).
- 8 years of progressive leadership in home health hospice or healthcare operations.
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations compliance standards and accreditation requirements.
- Proven track record in driving growth operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Experience with mergers acquisitions and service line expansion.
- Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in leveraging healthcare technology to improve outcomes and efficiency.
Work Environment
- Based in Cleveland office with limited regional travel as needed.
