Job Summary

Eventide Heartland Care Center in Devils Lake ND is seeking apart time Culinary Assistant / Server / Dishwasher to work 430p - 830p. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

The Culinary Assistant / Server / Dishwasher will wash dishes and provide meal service to residents/tenants under sanitary conditions and in a respectful timely manner by communicating coordinating and cooperating with others to carry out the operations of the Nutrition and Culinary Services department.

Essential Job Duties

Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
Follows portion control size standards.
Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all dishes tables equipment utensils and containers used to provide meals as well as other assigned cleaning duties.
Operates equipment in a proper safe sanitary and respectful manner.
Prepares various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director (Coordinator) and/or Culinary Cook.
Monitors daily menu items in order to verify that all necessary items are prepared and labeled.
Stores leftovers appropriately according to food handling standards.
Organizes and plans work schedule to meet times for serving.
Operates dish machine according to directions. Pre-soaks and sorts dishes and utensils.
Assists in accepting vendor deliveries and storing items in the proper areas.

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in food service is preferred but not required.
