Whats the role
The Traded Risk technology team is responsible for enhancing and implementing the solution for APS116 Market Risk in the Trading Book. Currently the team is working on a new hybrid vendor and in-house solution to replace the legacy application.
This role involves requirements gathering sourcing of data identifying potential data gaps defining interface requirements creating test cases and executing tests. Sourcing and transforming trade reference and market data is essential requiring expertise in Murex Calypso and financial products. Additionally defining interface specifications for source systems middleware and vendors is critical. The Traded Risk team will also require enhanced analytical capabilities to manage the application build domain knowledge and support new requirements until the legacy system is decommissioned.
What do I need
- A minimum of 5-7 years experience working as a technical Business Analyst.
- Strong understanding of Financial Markets and the Traded Risk area (Credit and Market Risk).
- Proven project delivery experience in Institutional Banking.
- Experience with Murex and Calypso trading systems is mandatory.
- Experience working according to Agile/Scrum principles is required.
- Proficiency in using Confluence and JIRA.
- Advanced data analysis skills including SQL Unix and Excel.
