We are seeking a Parts Manager for Payne Edinburg CDJR to oversee all aspects of the parts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory ordering parts and ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred
- Previous experience in automotive parts management
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead a team and collaborate with other departments
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage parts department staff including hiring training and performance evaluations
- Oversee inventory control ordering receiving and stocking of parts
- Monitor and analyze department performance to ensure profitability and efficiency
- Work closely with service and sales departments to meet customer needs
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Keep up to date with industry trends and new parts technology
**Additional Requirements:**
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
