Job Description
Grow your career in RF systems and software development. Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience delivering advanced microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for aerospace defense and communications. Our technologies power mission-critical applications in aviation radar Satcom space and electronic warfare. If youre passionate about RF principles and eager to work in a multidisciplinary environment this role is for you.
What youll do
- Support system-level integration and testing of RF and microwave components including SSPAs and multi-function modules
- Assist in developing and automating test systems using Python LabVIEW or MATLAB
- Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze system performance and troubleshoot RF chain issues
- Contribute to control interface development and embedded software for RF subsystems
- Perform RF measurements and data analysis using network analyzers spectrum analyzers and power meters
- Document test procedures results and system configurations
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support product development and validation
What you need
- Basic understanding of RF and microwave principles (required)
- Familiarity with RF components such as amplifiers filters mixers and switches (required)
- Experience with scripting or programming languages like Python or MATLAB (required)
- Exposure to RF simulation tools (advantage)
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment and test automation (advantage)
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 13 years of experience (required)
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (required)
