As a business application consulting generalist at PwC you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis implementation training and support.

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Fineos Platform Developer with a strong background in software application development. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working specifically with the Fineos platform and 5-6 years of overall experience in software development. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle both configuration tasks and Java-based customization to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fineos Configuration:
- Customize and configure the Fineos platform to align with client specifications and business needs.
- Develop and maintain business rules process flows and user interfaces within Fineos.
- Java Development:
- Implement Java-based enhancements and modifications within the Fineos framework.
- Design develop and test Java applications to ensure seamless integration with the Fineos platform.
- System Integration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Fineos with other systems and applications.
- Ensure smooth data exchange and interoperability between Fineos and external systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with the Fineos platform including configuration and customization.
- 5-6 years of experience in software application development with a strong focus on Java.
- Proficiency in Java programming and related technologies (e.g. J2EE Spring Framework).
- Proficiency in GIT SQL Docker AWS CLI
- Familiarity with web services APIs and integration protocols (e.g. REST SOAP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
