About the Role

In this role you will be joining our Banksia Ward. This is a 30-bed acute general medical ward. This role is suited to an experienced Nurse with management skills to step into a key leadership role in the department.

As a member of our clinical leadership team you will review plan oversee and deliver patient care within the unit under the guidance and support of the Nurse Unit Manager. As an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager your role consists of clinical aptitude dynamic planning and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to provide a high level of quality service and care to our patient population.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum three (4) years acute nursing experience
  • Any clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • Current clinical experience working in acute medical services
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development
  • The ability to work a rotating 7-day roster is essential.

Remuneration:

On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $55.92 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances.
