Job Summary
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our financial client to fill their Senior Calypso Engineer position! This is a 4 month contract opportunity based in Buffalo NY and is open to local and remote candidates.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Provide technical solutions designs documentation and guidance at the highest level of technical direction.
- Lead the design development and execution of technical solutions in collaboration with technology management customers and support teams.
- Handle infrastructure architecture and design R&D of systems development of standards and policies user requirement analysis testing and integration.
- Estimate the effort for moderate to large scale projects.
- Coordinate vendor interaction and manage contract/vendor resources.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their documentation and proposals.
- Stay up to date with Financial Services technologies and practices.
- Promote use of industry best practices and maintain expert technical knowledge.
- Assist in budgeting and planning activities.
- Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards.
What Youll Need to Have:
- Calypso Trading Platform / FinTech experience
- Jira experience preferred
- ServiceNow experience preferred
- Combined minimum of 12 years higher education and/or work experience in systems design management and/or architecture.
- Thorough understanding of system development lifecycle IT Service Management and systems design.
- Strong infrastructure design data management and application development experience.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into technical implementations.
- Demonstrated problem-solving analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to independently and collaboratively deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong client engagement and facilitation skills.
- Experience with virtual technologies project estimation and budget planning.
Pay Range:$95-$115/hr
