Job Summary
Job Title: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse
Location:Brooklyn NY 11206
Durtion/Hours: 3 Months40 hours/week 8 hours/day 5 days/week
Duties
Provide patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia.
Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
Monitor vital signs consciousness levels and recovery progress.
Collaborate with physicians surgeons and healthcare staff to ensure safe patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience.
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and Phlebotomy experience.
Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience.
Education & Certifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program.
Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York State.
Primary Source Verification of license via NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
AHA BLS Certification.
