Job Title:IT Helpdesk Support - Associate
Location: Onsite - Twinsburg OH (Cleveland Market)
Pay Rate:$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (two days per week 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM; worker selects which two days excluding Mondays). Occasional overtime and weekend work as needed.
Type: Contract (3 months with potential to extend and possible temp-to-hire)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Helpdesk/Client Support Associate to serve as the primary onsite IT resource for our Twinsburg office. This position is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for hardware software and networking issues as well as managing ticket requests through an internal chat-based system. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of IT expertise and strong customer service skills with the ability to remain approachable and professional in a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for onsite IT support managing and resolving tickets through an internal system (10-60 tickets per day).
  • Provide support for both onsite and remote employees via chat and in-person assistance.
  • Install configure and troubleshoot software print drivers utilities and workstation hardware.
  • Issue and configure laptops replace hardware and perform updates as required.
  • Troubleshoot desktops laptops printers and network issues.
  • Support new hire onboarding and provide IT orientation.
  • Monitor installed systems identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Track and document incidents for compliance with IT processes.
  • Participate in training (3-4 weeks of shadowing and guided instruction provided).

Must-Have Skills

  • 2 years of IT support experience including hardware setup system builds and troubleshooting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Basic networking knowledge including the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • 2 years of customer service experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience supporting desktop laptop and printer issues.

Preferred Skills

  • VPN support experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (strong user and support experience).
  • IT-related certifications or degree (preferred not required).

Soft Skills

  • Friendly approachable and customer focused.
  • Ability to represent IT professionally across the organization.
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to go above and beyond.
