Job Summary
The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is responsible for managing relationships between carriers customers and internal sales teams for assigned accounts. This role requires strong knowledge of customer operations logistics processes and transportation systems to deliver exceptional service and ensure accurate timely product delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact between Supply Chain and assigned external customers.

Manage all aspects of customer relationships including monitoring high-volume email communication and resolving issues promptly.

Utilize multiple dispatch systems (TES LME FourKites OTR) and external scheduling platforms (Retailix Retail Link UNFI One Network etc.) to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.

Maintain knowledge of internal policies procedures and software applications as well as customer organizational structures and requirements.

Identify cost-effective and creative solutions to resolve delivery and service issues.

Proactively address issues impacting delivery accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in transportation or logistics.

1-3 years of experience in transportation or logistics (not general customer service).

Proficiency in MS Office applications; ability to manage high email volumes (300 emails per day).

Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Proven ability to multitask manage conflict and problem-solve effectively.

Positive attitude with strong negotiation and accountability skills.
