The following process is used when a CalPERS Retiree is interested in working as a Retired Annuitant for Solano County.

THE POSITION:POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:High school diploma GED or equivalent AND
Experience:Eighteen (18) months of full-time work experience involving emergency service dispatching for law enforcement fire services or medical dispatching.
Previous experience with Sunridge RIMS CAD and possession of an Emergency Medical Dispatching Certificate is preferred.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants are required to demonstrate basic typing speed of 40 WPM by passing of a County approved test.

LICENSING CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
Employees are required to obtain the following within the 12-month probationary period:
All licenses certificates and registrations must be kept current while employed in this class. Failure to do so may constitute cause for personnel action in accordance with Civil Service Rules or applicable bargaining agreement.
