What were looking for:
45 years of professional experience in embedded systems development.
Strong proficiency in C and C programming for embedded environments.
Solid knowledge of microcontrollers microprocessors and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Experience with embedded Linux (kernel drivers and user-space programming).
Hands-on experience with communication protocols (UART SPI I2C CAN Ethernet etc.).
Familiarity with hardware/software integration debugging and testing of embedded systems.
Proficiency in using debugging tools (JTAG oscilloscopes logic analyzers etc.).
Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and build systems (CMake Make).
Experience with software optimization memory management and performance tuning in resource-constrained environments.
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Availability for a hybrid regimen in Porto or Lisbon
Nice to have:
Experience with Python or Bash scripting for automation and testing.
Knowledge of safety-critical systems (ISO 26262 DO-178C or similar).
Experience with Docker CI/CD pipelines for embedded development.
Knowledge of cybersecurity for embedded systems.
