The client we are currently supporting is a market leader in the development operation and asset management of grid connected / utility scale renewable energy projects particularly focused within the battery energy storage (BESS) sector.
Due to growth within their project management/engineering team they are now looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager to join the organisation here in Australia.
Job Description
As a Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager within this organisation you will be responsible for leading the engineering/technical aspects of renewable energy (BESS) projects across Australia. This position would ideally suit an experienced and self-driven individual with strong stakeholder engagement/management skills & a proven background in renewable energy project engineering and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans timelines and budgets for renewable energy projects
- Develop concept designs SLDs cable schedules and early stage project engineering requirements
- Prepare and review technical specifications scopes of work and design packages
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Communicate with clients contractors and other stakeholders
- Provide technical expertise in electrical engineering and renewable energy systems
- Ensure compliance with Australian regulatory and safety requirements
- Oversee site studies early works and feasibility assessments
- Liaise with clients contractors and other stakeholders across projects
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Renewable Energy or Power Systems Engineering
- 3-5 years experience in project engineering/project management of HV/Renewable Energy projects in Australia
- Experience in both development and delivery phases of energy projects in Australia
- Great written and verbal communication strong problem-solving skills
