Inspection Programming Manager
Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for an Inspection Programming Manager to join them.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Quality Engineering Manager the Inspection Programming Manager will be responsible for leading and managing Inspection equipment programmers for the Machine Shop. You will partner with a cross-functional team to set and drive Safety Quality Delivery and Cost standards and objectives to ensure reliable on-time delivery of quality parts to our customers.
To be considered for the Inspection Programming Manager role here s what you ll typically need to bring with you:
5 years of relevant experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in a machine shop environment.
5 years of management experience including demonstrated capability of:
Leading developing and coaching high-performing teams of employees.
Leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver tactical plans that achieve operation objectives.
Effectively leading through organizational changes.
A continuous improvement mindset with a proven track record of enacting lean manufacturing strategies and implementing process/programming improvements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A strong ability to find opportunities to lean out processes including inspection equipment and inspection work holding techniques.
A strong working knowledge of CMM s and Automated Inspection equipment. (Zeiss CMM experience is preferred)
As the Inspection Programming Manager you will:
Lead a team of direct reports that include inspection programmers.
Be part of the manufacturing quality leadership team which will include the Inspection manager and the PQE manager.
Collaborate with a cross-functional staff demonstrating the companys Culture and Values
The ability to work tactically to complete the day-to-day activities and a focus on continuous improvement to set ourselves up for the future.
Standardize programming techniques and inspection tools to reduce programming time.
Facilitate resolution of all issues that may impact objectives for quality cost delivery and safety.
Champion adherence to company Systems and Procedures in carrying out decisions within
inspection programming.
Coordinate functions to ensure all required support services are effectively and efficiently planned provided and utilized.
Champion and foster a culture of collaboration results-based operational excellence customer orientation strong awareness of quality process orientation and continuous improvement and safety.
Recognize future inspection issues or constraints and develop a plan to avoid them before they become a problem.
Ensure that relevant accurate and timely communication and reports are acquired from and delivered to stakeholders.
Successfully lead and support shop floor change projects support product transition projects to and from East Aurora Military Aircraft Group Operations
Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo NY $85000.00 $130000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the companys salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of the companys total compensation package for employees.
