Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 12

Shift Notes: 12 Hr Days GWW 24 hrs scheduled for 36 hrs

Weekend Requirements: 1 Shift Every 3rd Weekend

On-Call Requirements: TBD

Patient ratio of 2:1 during labor
1:1 for delivery or C-S Fetal Monitoring IV Magnesium C-Section Circulator/Recover
2:1 Epidurals IV Pitocin

The L&D RN cares for women during labor and childbirth monitors the baby and the mother coaches mothers and assists doctors. The RN will prepare women and their families for the stages of giving birth and will help patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born.

The Birthing Center averages 200 births per month.

Submission Requirements

1 year of recent L&D experience - REQUIRED
Active IL License at time of submission - REQUIRED
IL Nurse agency license in submittal profile - REQUIRED
Must be fully COVID vaccinated - REQUIRED
BLS NRP and ACLS - REQUIRED
Travel experience - Preferred
