About the role
As a Software Engineer you will work with the Engineering Practice to design develop and implement improvements to our capability in Engineering including people tools culture and way of working. The role includes systems analysis design development maintenance & ongoing support.
What youll do
- Design develop and implement secure scalable software solutions using Agile and DevOps practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality systems that meet business needs
- Drive automation and embed DevSecOps principles to enhance delivery efficiency
- Contribute to technical analysis estimation and implementation decisions
- Support the creation and reuse of development assets including libraries test cases and documentation
- Perform unit and integration testing ensuring robust and reliable code
What youll bring
- 3 years of professional software engineering experience ideally in Java/Spring Boot
- Experience in REST API development and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS (ALB/ELB EC2) and OpenShift
- Skilled in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience with testing frameworks like WireMock REST Assured Pact JV Jest or Enzyme
- Knowledge of React UI or similar frontend technologies is preferred
