Job Summary
Job Summary
The individual filling this position will perform independent research under the guidance of Drs. Garcia and von Reyn. This includes experimental design data collection and analysis and preparation of figures and manuscripts for addition this individual will provide general lab support for both labs including management of research animals (Drosophila and mice) genotyping and database maintenance and other general lab support as needed.
Essential Functions
- Experimental design data collection data analysis
- Drosophila stock maintenance
- Transgenic mouse colony maintenance genotyping
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in orthe equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Organizational skills Drosophila genetics Neuroscience

Additional Information
This position is classified as Non-Exempt grade F. Compensation for this grade ranges from$14.10 to $21.15 per hour. Please note that the offered rate for thisposition typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade but it can vary based on thesuccessful candidates qualifications and experience department budget and an internal equity review.
