Job Summary

Position Description:

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Lifecycle Manager within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities.

The IT Service Lifecycle Manager oversees the complete journey of IT services from design and implementation to operation and eventual retirement ensuring they align with business goals and deliver value. Key responsibilities include managing the service portfolio defining service strategies developing service roadmaps monitoring performance driving continuous improvement through incident and problem management managing budgets and coordinating with various teams and third-party providers to maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.

This position is located in our Arlington VA office; however a hybrid working model is acceptable. Must live within a 50-mile radius of DMV/NCR

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Service Strategy & Planning: Develops long-term strategies for IT service delivery creates service roadmaps and defines service offerings to meet evolving business demands.
. Service Design & Transition: Ensures services are designed tested and implemented efficiently overseeing the handover from implementation experts and documenting new processes and procedures.
.Service Operation & Improvement: Monitors service performance manages incidents and problems and drives continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance quality and customer experience.
.Financial Management: Manages service budgets conducts financial analysis and reports on the total cost of ownership (TCO) to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
.Performance Management: Establishes and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for IT services analyzing performance to ensure goals are met and identifying areas for optimization.
.Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Collaborates with internal departments third-party vendors and executive leadership to ensure alignment and high-quality service delivery.
.Training & Documentation: Develops training materials and conducts sessions for operational teams and maintains up-to-date process documentation and technical standards.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree and/or 5 to 10 years of experience
. Security Clearance: US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI Poly
. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure applications security and relevant platforms.
.Business Acumen: Ability to understand business objectives and align IT service delivery with those goals.
.Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead teams communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and manage cross-functional projects.
.Analytical Skills: Proficiency in performance analysis data modeling and identifying areas for automation and improvement.
.ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks like ITIL is often required for managing the entire service lifecycle effectively.
.Project Management: Experience in managing large-scale projects and workstreams to deliver solutions and services.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $99200.00 - $241600.00.
