Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage geotechnical projects ensuring timely delivery budget adherence and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough site investigations and prepare detailed geotechnical reports and design recommendations.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project execution and compliance with safety standards.
  • Oversee fieldwork activities and ensure adherence to best practices in drilling sampling and testing soil and rock.
  • Analyze geotechnical data and develop effective solutions to complex engineering problems.
  • Monitor project budgets and timelines providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends technologies and regulatory changes affecting the field.

Must-Haves

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering project management.
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g. AutoCAD finite element analysis).

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with environmental consulting projects.
  • Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) in geotechnical engineering.
  • Familiarity with advanced geotechnical modeling techniques.
  • Previous involvement in business development or client relationship management.
