Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage geotechnical projects ensuring timely delivery budget adherence and client satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough site investigations and prepare detailed geotechnical reports and design recommendations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project execution and compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee fieldwork activities and ensure adherence to best practices in drilling sampling and testing soil and rock.
- Analyze geotechnical data and develop effective solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends technologies and regulatory changes affecting the field.
Must-Haves
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering project management.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g. AutoCAD finite element analysis).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with environmental consulting projects.
- Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) in geotechnical engineering.
- Familiarity with advanced geotechnical modeling techniques.
- Previous involvement in business development or client relationship management.
