Somerby Franklin is seeking a dedicated and compassionate driver to join our team in serving our vibrant senior living community. This position offers the unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residents by providing safe reliable transportation while building genuine connections with those you serve.

Position Details

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time available

Schedule: Flexible hours typically between 8:30 AM 4:30 PM (varies based on daily transportation needs)

Essential Responsibilities

Transport residents safely and courteously to and from community outings medical appointments personal shopping trips and other destinations

Assist residents when boarding and exiting vehicles ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey

Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices properly using safety restraints

Perform minor lifting as needed to support residents with limited mobility

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct routine safety inspections

Communicate professionally with residents families and team members

Represent Somerby Franklin with warmth and professionalism in the community

Requirements

Qualifications:

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

Must obtain F-Class endorsement (DMV test required; we support you through this process if not currently held)

Ability to pass comprehensive background check

Physical capability to perform minor lifting and bending as needed

Personal Attributes:

Patience grace and genuine compassion when working with seniors

Upbeat friendly personality with a positive attitude

Strong team player who collaborates effectively with staff

Dependable and punctual with excellent attention to safety
