Principal, IT Business Systems Analysis

Summary of Position:

As a Principal Opcenter MES Platform Architect you will lead the design deployment and optimization of Siemens Opcenter MES and Opcenter Connect MOM across global manufacturing operations. This senior-level role requires deep technical expertise strategic thinking and leadership capabilities. You will drive digital transformation initiatives ensure system scalability and compliance and mentor junior team members while collaborating with business and IT stakeholders. You will also contribute developer-level skills to customize and extend Opcenter and Connect MOM functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable secure and high-availability Opcenter MES and Connect MOM solutions.
• Develop and customize Opcenter and Connect MOM modules to meet business requirements.
• Lead global deployments and automation of MES systems across multiple sites.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for MES and database issues.
• Act as Application DBA for MSSQL ensuring optimal performance and stability.
• Deeply understand MES and Connect MOM database structures to support analytics and eDHR requests.
• Stay ahead of Opcenter MES Connect MOM and MSSQL advancements; lead upgrade strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and training to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with vendors IT and business units to align systems with strategic goals.
• Own incident problem change and configuration management processes.
• Ensure GxP compliance through rigorous documentation and validation.
• Participate in on-call support for critical manufacturing operations.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 7 years of experience in IT with 3 years in Siemens Opcenter MES and Connect MOM.
• Proven experience as a Technical Architect in MES environments.
• Strong developer skills in Opcenter and Connect MOM including scripting and module customization.
• Proficiency in MSSQL ITIL and ServiceNow.
• Excellent leadership communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic global setting.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
