Operates and maintains stations to assemble align and adjust fabricated parts components or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.Job Description
- The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills. Being flexible to changing needs of the business and department and will work overtime as needed.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Highly organized self-managed individual who works independently and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand eye coordination while using a microscope
- Uses hand tools power tools and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances product specifications and quality standards.
- May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Keeps daily assembly production records.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
- Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
- Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
- May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
