Projects aim:

The Production Intern will contribute to the implementation of a new production line as well as the deployment of HAPS (Haleon Performance System) principles and tools in order to support the site strategy and improve performance in Safety Quality Service and Cost.

Several topics are possible (non-exhaustive):

• Tests on a pressurized hopper with a Y-shaped outlet
• Optimization of personnel and logistics flows
• Improvements in raw material storage to facilitate machinability
• Creation of an automatic reloading system to detect when a cavity is empty and refill a tube before the cartoner
• Proof of concept for predictive maintenance
• Support to line Process Engineers in problem-solving activities

Projects course of action:

1. Establish a basic knowledge of the system & processes and understand how it all works together

2. Define the underlying problem on hand

3. Measure the impact of the problem

4. Analyze the problems possible solutions and limitations

5. Implement the designed solutions

6. Control the results of the implemented solutions

Required profile:

Since these projects will take place on the shop floor (operational level) we are looking for motivated students who have hands-on experience and can implement concrete solutions. Moreover the candidate must be a good team player have strong communication skills and a keen interest in the production process.
