The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the training assessment and continuing professional development of emergency physicians as well as the advancement of professional standards in emergency medicine in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Position
We have an exciting opportunity within our Education and Training department for an Administrative Officer working as part of the team responsible for managing the applications for international medical graduates applying for our specialist training program either in Australia or New Zealand.
The role of Administration Officer is an essential component of our daily operations and will include responsibilities such as:
Processing applications and supporting applicants
Supporting the delivery of interviews
Establishing and building strong relationships with key stakeholders
Updating the relevant databases in a timely manner
Skills and Attributes
To be successful in this role you will require the following skills and attributes:
Proven administration experience with the familiarity of continuous improvement
Familiarity with the processes of the regulatory medical bodies in Australia and New Zealand including the Medical Board of Australia and the Medical Council of New Zealand
The ability to effectively communicate with international applicants senior clinical staff regulatory bodies and colleagues.
Demonstrated experience managing data across software programs and the ability to learn new IT skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
A commitment to handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Efficient planning and time management skills
The ability to solve problems as they arise
