Your future duties and responsibilities:
Position: Automation Engineer
Experience: 6-8 years
Location: Chennai(Preferred)
Shift: UK Shift
Must-to-Have Skills
Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation scripting.
Experience in automation frameworks (PyTest Unittest Robot Framework or Behave/BDD).
Hands-on in Selenium / Playwright / Appium (UI API or mobile automation).
Solid understanding of REST/SOAP API automation (requests library Postman integration).
CI/CD pipeline integration experience (Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps or similar).
Strong knowledge of SQL for validation of backend data.
Experience in test scenario design execution defect logging and tracking.
Knowledge of Agile methodology and working with tools like JIRA Azure DevOps or Rally.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) for test execution and automation.
Hands-on with Big Data / ETL testing automation (PySpark Hive Snowflake validations).
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter Locust Gatling).
Working knowledge of API mocking tools (WireMock Mountebank).
Test reporting & dashboards using Allure Extent Reports or custom Python dashboards.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform Ansible).
Banking Domain expertise as per project.
