Job Description :

Design and execute automated and manual test scenarios using Java Selenium and API tools like Postman or Insomnia. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote Test-Driven Development CI/CD integration and shift-left testing practices across web and cloud platforms. Apply strong analytical skills and testing principles to ensure software quality through UI/API automation SQL validation and maintainable coding approaches.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and backend applications
Create scalable and reusable automation frameworks using industry-standard tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
Execute automated test suites as part of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Identify defects analyse root causes and track issues through to resolution
Develop and maintain test data test environments and supporting documentation
Perform code reviews on automation scripts and contribute to test automation best practices
Monitor and report on test results quality metrics and overall system stability
Support manual testing where required particularly in exploratory or edge-case scenarios.

Must Have Skills:
Strong knowledge of development practices using Java
Promoting engineering best practices with strong collaboration principles
Enthusiastic to support Test Driven Development within cross-functional teams
Passionate about testing and shifting left and good working knowledge of CI/CD deliveries
Proven experience in both UI and API automation
Analytical approach to developing with maintainable coding approaches
Comfortable delivering within a Cloud platform using cloud products
Experience of using Typescript (optional)
Experience of using GraphQL (optional)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
