Join us as Application Manager to own and evolve a global portfolio of marketing applications - and be the connective tissue between data technology and stakeholders across the business

We offer

A unique position where you will be joining the global function IT & Digital Enablement (IT&DE) with reference to the Director of Business Applications.

You will be part of a team of skilled Solution Architects and Application Managers who are focused on ensuring that applications support business processes while maintaining high standards of performance availability and compliance across all applications.

You will be based at our office in Warsaw (Poland) enjoying the benefits of flexible working when it makes sense for you and the business and you can expect limited travel.

About the job

In this role you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of a suite of marketing applications used globally across VELUX.

You will play a key role in assessing securing and streamlining marketing applications - driving ownership decommissioning where relevant and aligning with the business on clear accountability.

To achieve success it is essential to possess strong communication skills a passion for stakeholder management and a comprehensive understanding of the marketing domain. This expertise will enable you to effectively leverage the tools we provide and serve as a valuable marketing enabler.

A key tool utilized is HubSpot; therefore familiarity with this platform is advantageous.

Additionally we employ a range of tools that encompass cookie banners surveys and both custom-built and SaaS-oriented customer-facing solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as IT Application Owner for a portfolio of marketing applications setting technical requirements to best support the business
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the business on queries and issues related to these applications
  • Providing input to the application roadmap including rationalizations optimization opportunities and new security or architectural requirements
  • Providing cost input for technical planning building and running activities and managing the assigned technical part of the budget
  • Serving as the primary contact for relevant vendors ensuring they deliver in accordance with agreements and SLAs
  • Overseeing implementation service introduction regular maintenance upgrades and support of the applications
  • Monitoring application compliance with information security standards and keeping business owners informed of any deviations and risks
  • On smaller projects translating business needs into specific requirements for applications and managing timelines and resources
  • Provide proactive sparing on marketing activities to maximize ROI where a CRO mindset is an advantage.


About You

We are looking for a self-driven professional with a relevant degree combined with solid experience and a strong background in managing marketing or business applications.

You thrive in a dynamic and engaging environment and you are comfortable taking ownership of a diverse and evolving application landscape.

Furthermore you have:

  • Experience with marketing technology platforms
  • A structured approach to application lifecycle management including onboarding optimization and decommissioning
  • High-level knowledge of system integrations
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and the capability to comprehend intricate user flows in marketing solutions
  • A solid understanding of information security and compliance requirements
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate with both IT and business colleagues
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
