We are looking for a skilled Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our team at our Wholesale & Buying Center team to perform necessary maintenance and repairs on trade-ins and purchased vehicles for our pre-owned inventory. Core Responsibilities:

• Inspect used cars to identify damages and maintenance needs.
• Test diagnose maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
• Inform the Service Manager of any additional services or repairs needed estimating the time needed to complete the work.
• Perform work on the repair order per dealership standards.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• 2 year of related experience performing vehicle inspections routine maintenance and repairs.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of vehicles paired with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and thorough workmanship.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• A valid drivers license and clean driving record are required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Hours and Work Environment:

Hours are Monday Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturdays as needed working in an open air shop with swamp coolers and heaters.
