This position works independently or within a team to assemble quality fabricate metal components for furniture to work order specifications in an incentives base manufacturing environment.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):Fabricate metal material according to La-Z-Boy quality press machine maintenance to maximize program yields. Load die and set up the machine adjusting for each all moving parts of machine forklift or pallet jack to relocate materials supplies and parts as work visually for defects according to our quality standardsProper cleaning and maintenance of equipment Ability to operate equipment in a safe accurate and efficient non-conforming parts as quality and teamwork and motivation for job requirements. Follow health and safety a clean work REQUIREMENTS:Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above dutiesBasic reading writing and math skillsAbility to read complex print specificationsUse and understand measuring tools (micrometer calipers etc.)Ability to lift 50 computer skillsObtain PIV license Achieve performance standardsExcellent attendance; 3 points or safety written warningsPREFERRED REQURMENTS:Bilingual SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None OUR PURPOSE:We are La-Z-Boy Incorporated.
