Job Summary
A Brief Overview
The Junior Application Administrator Endpoint plays a crucial role in supporting and managing enterprise desktop and endpoint management technologies. This position involves installing coding testing debugging updating and maintaining software applications as well as assisting with routine application design and maintenance issues. The administrator also provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users to ensure systems operate smoothly.
Additionally the administrator performs patching of the Endpoint Management Infrastructure using tools such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) and Group Policy. They assist in creating and maintaining stable efficient endpoint images and builds manage Windows endpoint configurations deploy policies and generate reports on software and hardware inventory. While they do not directly manage Active Directory Microsoft Azure Microsoft Defender ATP or Microsoft 365 a solid understanding of these systems is essential to effectively support endpoint security and usage policies.
This position installs codes tests debugs updates and maintains software applications. This position assists with the resolution of routine application design and maintenance problems. This position assesses monitors and reports on the level of application security availability and performance and prepares documentation for system configuration records maintenance. This position also provides software troubleshooting and technical support to end users.
Beyond technical responsibilities the Junior Application Administrator contributes to improving processes to ensure timely service delivery. This position also involves preparing thorough documentation related to system configurations and procedures. It demands strong expertise with endpoint management technologies a proactive approach to security and performance monitoring and excellent communication skills to provide effective end-user support.

Required Education
Three-year Community College Diploma or Three-Year Bachelor Degree or addition requires trade certification qualification or on-going learning to remain ahead of changes in technology or emerging fields.
Required Experience
More than 2 years and up to and including 3 years of experience.
Experience in information systems security and management tools considered an asset (e.g. Endpoint Protection Management Tools etc.).
Experience with scripting and programming languages is considered an asset (e.g. PowerShell Microsoft Graph KQL).
Experience in general IT infrastructure with a focus on installation configuration and maintenance of IT systems software and hardware considered an asset.
Experience with desktop and server operating systems considered an asset.
Experience with Microsoft Identity and Access solutions (e.g. Active Directory Entra ID) considered an asset.
Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.
