Reimagine Whats Possible

Do you have a passion for sales solving unique challenges driving efficiency and operational excellence Air Products seeks a Central Sales Account Representative at our Allentown PA Headquarters. This position within IG Americas Central Sales North has responsibility for managing a portfolio of approximately 330 accounts and $10MM in annual revenue.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Renewing existing merchant contracts

  • Driving cost recovery initiatives

  • Building customer relationships

  • Improving contract terms and conditions

  • Signing new business for the North sub-region

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • BS degree required

  • 1-3 years in sales

  • Self-starter with strong desire to succeed in a complex internal and external environment

  • Ability to work as part of a larger selling team

  • Financial acumen

  • Commercial industrial gas selling experience a plus

  • Knowledge and understanding of industrial gas contract language and negotiations

  • Understanding of Industrial Gas business offerings and equipment is preferred

  • Responsive and detail oriented

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work cross functionally

  • Limited travel required: 1-2 trips per year to North Region (US customer) base and 1-2 trips per year to Sales Meetings.
