Job Description
RN- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Day Shift)
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) for a Level IV Surgical NICU in Atlanta GA. This is a contract position ideal for RNs who thrive in high-acuity environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional care to neonates with complex medical and surgical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV NICU setting.
- Monitor assess and document vital signs clinical status and response to treatment.
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists surgeons respiratory therapists and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Administer medications and interventions per physician orders and NICU protocols.
- Educate and support families throughout their NICU stay.
- Maintain a safe developmentally appropriate and nurturing environment.
Required Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU RN experience required.
- Level IV and/or Surgical NICU experience.
- PALS certification required
- NRP certification preferred
- Must be able to commit to weekend shifts only (Friday Sunday).
