Position Overview:
The Plumbing Technician will be responsible for overseeing plumbing projects providing technical guidance to team members and ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Project Management: Leading and overseeing plumbing projects from start to finish including scheduling resource allocation and quality control.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrating proficiency in installing repairing and maintaining plumbing systems including pipes fixtures and appliances.
• Team Leadership: Providing guidance and support to plumbing technicians apprentices and other team members. Delegating tasks effectively and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Client Interaction: Communicating with clients to understand their needs answering questions and providing recommendations for plumbing solutions. Always maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Problem Solving: Identifying and troubleshooting plumbing issues developing effective solutions and implementing repairs in a timely manner.
• Compliance: Ensuring that all work complies with relevant codes regulations and safety standards. Keeping up to date of industry developments and best practices.
• Documentation: Completing accurate and thorough documentation of work performed including invoices work orders and inspection reports.
• Training and Development: Providing training and mentorship to junior team members to support their professional growth and development.

What Does It Take

• Journeyman Plumbing license
• 2 year minimum as a lead plumber running your own truck
• Ability to serve tanked and tankless water heaters
• Demonstrated ability to lift at least 75 Ibs
• Valid Drivers License required
• Clear background check Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and drug screen
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and educating customers on all options
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to safety in all aspects of work
• Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment

Pay:

• Our Journeyman licensed plumbers range from $38.00-$50.00/per hour depending on experience
• We are open to 3.5-4 year licensed Apprentices who are willing and ready to test for Journeyman within 6 months starting at $33.00-$37.00/hr with an increase when licensed
• Sign-On Bonus: Potentially - Up to $10000.00 for Journeyman/Master licensed plumbers
