Job Title: Director of Nursing (DON)

Contract: 10 weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40hrs/week)
Pay Rate: $75/hr (W2) $80/hr (1099)
Responsibilities:

Drive business excellence staff excellence clinical excellence and patient/customer experience excellence.

Provide servant leadership and direction for day-to-day patient care operations ensuring smooth and effective nursing service delivery.

Promote an environment focused on top-of-license practice and collaboration within the nursing team.

Communicate a shared vision for clinical excellence and ensure the delivery of high-quality cost-effective healthcare services.

Foster continuous improvement in nursing services and staff performance to meet the needs and expectations of patients residents and their families.
Qualifications:
-
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing college or university with a current Registered Nurse (RN) license by the State Board of Nursing; BSN preferred.

At least 1 year of nurse leadership experience in long-term care is required.

A minimum of 2 years of prior clinical experience is required.

Knowledge of the MDS process state nurse practice act and state/federal regulations is essential.

On-call availability is required to address emergencies and critical situations as needed.
