Job Summary
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud automation and CI/CD to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in scaling DevOps practices in enterprise environments with prior Capital One experience being mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Design implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for large-scale applications.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using industry-standard tools.
Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery pipelines.
Maintain and optimize cloud environments (AWS preferred) with a focus on security scalability and cost efficiency.
Implement monitoring alerting and logging solutions to ensure system reliability.
Drive best practices in DevOps site reliability engineering (SRE) and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Mentor junior engineers and guide the team on DevOps standards and automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering or related fields.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2 S3 Lambda ECS EKS CloudFormation etc.).
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI/CD CircleCI etc.).
Expertise in containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
Strong scripting skills in Python Shell or Bash.
Solid understanding of networking security and system administration in cloud environments.
Mandatory Requirement
Ex-Capital One experience is required (must have worked previously at Capital One).
