Description

The Mai-Wel Group is seeking a passionate person for the position of Mentor Parent Pathways within our Employment Services team.

This role provides personalised strengths-based support to parents with children under six empowering them to achieve their educational and employment goals while balancing their caregiving responsibilities. Mentors play a vital role in helping participants set realistic goals connect with community and employment services and manage both vocational and non-vocational challenges.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Delivering person-centred case management across community and site-based settings.

  • Supporting parents to identify document and achieve education and employment goals.

  • Coaching and motivating participants to overcome barriers and explore new opportunities.

  • Promoting the Parent Pathways program within the community and engaging with employers.

  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with program WHS and quality standards.



Skills And Experiences

Essential requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (minimum Certificate III in Community Services Employment Services or related field).

  • Experience in the employment or community sector supporting individuals with complex needs.

  • Strong understanding of person-centred and strengths-based approaches.

  • Proficiency with a range of software applications and ability to manage casework effectively.
