Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY: The Task Force Operations Manager is responsible for the short- and long-term planning of our hotels and ensuring all hotels are being operating up to Lodgco Hospitality standard.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Ensures operational excellence by providing support critique and guidance to hotels.
  • Ensures brand QA Compliance/Performance and approving action plans generated by hotel.
  • Participates in special projects and initiatives as assigned by Regional Director of Operations/Vice President of Operations to include task force teams due diligence and new property openings and acquisitions.
  • Acts as role model and provide guidance on company culture. Manages and leads team members.
  • Guides and enforces procedures and systems to improve business operations.
  • Protects the companys financial assets by reviewing hotel operations to ensure proper administration of company policies and procedures for handling cash credit card accounts payable accounts receivable and all other financial transactions
  • Ensure proper administration of company policies and procedures for protecting the safety of guests and employees.
  • Regular property inspections and visits.
  • Complete property visit reports and assert action planning for performance improvement as needed.

REQUIRED/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Must have 2 years of experience as a departmentsupervisor or managerin select service hotels.
  • Multi-unit experience preferred
  • Excellent time managementand organizational skills.
  • Hilton Marriott or Hyatt Brand experience is required.
  • This position requires 100% Travel to any of our hotels throughout the United States.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Michigan based position Travel is approximately 70% with overnight travel required - Valid drivers license and safe driving record satisfactory criminal background screening required professional references
SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITY
This position manages the assigned properties.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to verbally communicate listen stand for long periods of time ability to walk kneel stoop bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are subject to the needs of each property.
