We are currently looking for a:
Raging Waters Sydney - Maintenance ManagerAbout the role:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the maintenance repair and infrastructure management of Raging Waters Sydney including facilities rides pools plumbing electrical and building systems. This role oversees contractors and ensures all maintenance works are delivered to park standards and regulatory compliance. The Maintenance Manager works closely with Facilities departments (Water Quality Slide Inspectors Tubes and others) to support safe and reliable park operations.Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all maintenance and repair activities in a hands on capacity for park infrastructure including rides pools slides plant plumbing electrical buildings and grounds.
Manage contractors (plumbing electrical construction mechanical etc.) including scope of works safety compliance scheduling permits and quality assurance.
Collaborate with Facilities Team Leaders (Water Quality Slide Inspectors Tubes) to ensure maintenance works support operational readiness and safety.
Create and manage daily maintenance and budget procedures including operating expenditures capital expenditures and labour expenses for the maintenance department.
Supervise seasonal & full-time maintenance staff and manage workload for maximum efficiency.
Develop and facilitate operating procedures for park operation employee relations timekeeping and safety including daily weekly and monthly documentation and inspection on all attractions and facilities.
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and all relevant building codes and standards.
Oversee all major new construction projects in line with local government guidelines and restrictions.
Control monitor and report expenditure against expenses budget; report actual labour hours and costs against budget.
Submit end-of-month (EOM) financial reporting and analysis recommending modifications to strategies to maximise future profitability.
Act as liaison with contractors/vendors and sub-contractors for all ongoing repairs upgrades and maintenance works.
Ensure the proper functioning of all pumps filters plumbing electrical and mechanical systems across the park.
Respond to all maintenance-related radio calls in a timely and appropriate manner.
Communicate with the Operations Team Water Park Maintenance Team and Director of Facilities regarding hazards repairs and failures resulting in attraction downtime or closures.
Be a proactive member of the Facilities team assisting with event and promotion set-up repairs and tear-down and work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays and complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: High School Certificate Trade Certificate in relevant field
Languages:: Fluent English
Skills:
Communication Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of personnel.

Problem Solving/Analysis Ability to define problems collect data draw valid conclusions and execute remedial strategies.

Computer Proficiency Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint).
Experience managing contractors across multiple trades.
Understanding of operational dependencies with frontline roles (Slide Dispatch Tube Management Water Quality).
Proven experience in planning and executing maintenance operations.
Solid understanding of plumbing electrical carpentry and mechanical systems.
Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment and ability to report on maintenance activities.
Experience:
Proven experience leading a team to maximise performance.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets.
Industry experience in risk management.
Skills and knowledge in construction and maintenance activities including costing scheduling quality control and contractor documentation.
Other:
Expenditure/Revenue Accountability (in millions) depending on which equipment requires repair or replacement.

Internal: General Manager /Operations / Sales & Marketing Department / Human Resources / Guest Services/Admissions/ Food & Beverage/Retail/ Facilities
External: Contractors / Suppliers / Business Partners.
