Job Description

Naumi Auckland Airport is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to take full ownership of our kitchen operations and lead a passionate team. Reporting to the General Manager youll craft unforgettable dining experiences drive culinary innovation and shape a market-leading restaurant.

What you will be doing

  • Lead all kitchen operations and deliver exceptional 5-star culinary experiences
  • Create bespoke menus across outlets from poolside BBQs to corporate events and weddings
  • Position the hotel restaurant as a market leader
  • Recruit train and develop your team
  • Collaborate with wider hotel teams to deliver seamless guest experiences
  • Manage food costs and budgets effectively
  • Uphold outstanding hygiene standards and compliance with Food Control Plans

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5 years proven experience as a Head/Executive Chef in a 4-star or luxury hotel
  • A creative hands-on chef with genuine passion for food innovation
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and inspire teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Financially astute with experience managing budgets and costs
  • Resilient under pressure and always ready to lead by example
