| Job Description: | The Academic Assistant II is the front-line hub for UF Online within the CLAS Academic Advising Center. The role coordinates advising logistics for new and continuing students managing calendars and appointments preparing students for advising and keeping information flowing between students and advisors. It supports core enrollment and records tasks such as drop and graduation lists routine reports student outreach and resolution of common holds and also assists with readmission processing. The position provides professional office and faculty support greets and routes visitors answers public inquiries and helps plan center events. Key responsibilities include: - Maintain advising calendars; schedule new-student appointments; prepare students for advising and matriculation.
- Assist with enrollment/records tasks (drop lists graduation lists basic records maintenance reports student outreach and resolving common holds).
- Support readmission processing; greet/route visitors; answer phones and public inquiries.
- Provide office and faculty support (proofreading mailings charts/graphics supply requests scanning/printing meeting scheduling email merges travel/expense assistance).
- Coordinate the UF Online Annual Report; participate in relevant meetings and maintain proficiency in systems and procedures.
- Serve as liaison with students departments and peer institutions; plan and coordinate CLAS UF Online and Academic Advising Center events.
